Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 To Be More "Reasonably" Priced
It is probably well known by now that Samsung is all set to launch its next flagship smartphone - Galaxy S5 at MWC 2014. However, there is also a buzz going around that we might see Galaxy Gear 2 at the same event.
As per a news report, ZDNet Samsung is planning to keep the price of Galaxy Gear 2 reasonable. The same report also notes that the first generation of Galaxy Gear was unable to strike a chord with the users owing to its hefty price tag.
However, we believe that Samsung is now planning to have a more realistic price for the Galaxy Gear 2 also because of the increased competition in the space. Later this year, Apple is expected to enter this space.
We are also hearing that Huawei is very keen to get into the segment and is likely to announce its smartwatch soon.
In India, Samsung had launched its Galaxy Gear smartwatch in September for Rs. 22,990. However, now it is retailing for Rs. 14,999.
