Lenovo in the past couple of weeks has been grabbing the headlines for the acquisitions that the company has been planning. First it was the Motorola acquisition from Google. This was followed up by the news of Lenovo taking over the VAIO business from Sony.

In other news, Lenovo has announced is about the Lenovo Vibe Z (K910) smartphone in India. This is the same smartphone that was also showcased at the CES 2014.

Coming to the specifications of the Lenovo Vibe Z, it sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor along with 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of internal storage.

Lenovo Vibe Z runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). For camera, Lenovo Vibe Z packs in 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor, dual LED flash f/1.8 aperture, BSI sensor and 5-megapixel front snapper.

The smartphone has a 3,000 mAh battery, which the company claims delivers the talk time of up to 33 hours and a standby time of up to 27 days.

Lenovo Vibe Z is available at the price of Rs. 35,999. It will be available in silver and titanium colors.
