Images of Budget BlackBerry Z3 'Jakarta' Leaked; May Launch at MWC 2014
If you are a BlackBerry loyalist and were waiting for the much talked about entry level BlackBerry 10 device, then you are in luck! Render of the BlackBerry Jakarta (aka BlackBerry Z3) have been leaked online.
As per the information available right now, this smartphone is definitely going on sale in Indonesia but chances are that the Canadian smartphone maker will be looking at getting it to other developed markets such as India too in the near future.
As far as the specifications go, this BlackBerry smartphone is expected to come with 5 inch screen with a 540 x 960 resolution. As per the rumours, it will be powered by dual-core 1.2 GHz processor with 1.5GB of RAM on board. There is 8GB of internal storage on the device and a 2,650 mAh battery.
For camera, it is expected to come with a 5MP rear-facing camera with auto-focus, and flash with 5X digital zoom. There will also be 1.1MP front-facing camera which will have a fixed focus and 3X digital zoom.
If it is available in India, this smartphone should be priced anything between Rs. 10,000 to 15,000. BlackBerry is already offering smartphones running on the older platform (BlackBerry OS 7 and 5) in India. The cheapest BlackBerry 10 smartphone being offered is the BlackBerry Q5. [N4BB]
